JoAnn Cornell, 91 of Bolivar, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, in her home.
She was united in marriage to Ralph Cornell on August 31, 1949, and to this union, nine children were born. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Buffalo Ward.
JoAnn is survived by six children: Janice Ballinger of Bolivar, MO, Penny Bumgardner of Ojai, CA, Sandra Hewitt of Bolivar, MO, Jerry Cornell (Sherri) of Santa Maria, CA, Jimmy Cornell (Tina) and Gary Cornell all of Bolivar, MO; 26 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren; two sisters: Margie Jensen, and Dixie Haddon (Arlin) of ID; a son in-law Walter Wills of OH; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
Services will follow at 1:00 pm, with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Aldrich, MO.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
