Virginia Mae (Ogburn) Black, 91, peacefully passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, in the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Sparta, Missouri.
She was born in Kewanee, Illinois on June 29, 1930, to Charles L. and Bonita A. (Lesan) Ogburn.
Virginia and Joseph L. Black were united in marriage on Sunday, April 13, 1947.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Bonnie Wilkinson of Urbana, MO and Becky Cooper of Springfield, MO; 4 sons, Mike and Debbie Black of Tulsa, OK, David and Pam Black of Springfield, MO, Dan and Debbie Black of Sparta, MO and Mark and Holly Black of Springfield, MO; 18grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Garden.
