Jenny was born here in Springfield, Missouri to Marvin and Virginia Courtois on Aug. 13, 1940, and passed away on April 13, 2024.
Jenny was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bill Cruse, on Feb. 3, 1962.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Cruse, her parents, Marvin and Virginia Courtois, her sister, Carolyn Woods, and her brother, Charles Courtois.
She is survived by her two sisters, Annabelle Savage and Sharon Mount, and her husband Dennis Mount; three daughters Cheryl Weston and her husband, John Weston, Teresa Brown and her husband Michael Brown, and Susan Inman and her husband Tony Inman; and her grandchildren, Travis Weston and his wife Ashley Weston, Matthew Weston and his wife Samantha Weston, Taylor Brown, Eric Brown, Emily Brown, and Joshua Inman.
She worked at Mercy Hospital for 15 years as a Diet Clerk, retiring in 2005.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 19, 2024, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
