The group Kansas is coming to the Gillioz Theatre for an 8 p.m. show Friday, March 8.

The band's roots go back to 1974 in Topeka, Kansas. Since then, the group has produced 16 studio albums and five live albums and has sold over 30 million albums.

Its most well known songs include “Carry on Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind.”

The group will be on its 50th anniversary tour.

The band is currently comprised of original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, keyboardist/vocalist Tom Brislin, violinist/guitarist Joe Deninzon and original guitarist Richard Williams.
