There was one clear winner at the 42nd annual Sertoma Chili Cookoff at the Springfield Expo Center.

Archie's Lounge, a cocktail bar located at 1817 E. Grand St., took home the top prizes for best booth, best costume, showmanship and best of show, according to a list of winners from the Springfield Sertoma Club. Archie's also took the top prize for “Fattest Fishbowl” in the restaurant category for most money raised.

The 42nd annual chili cookoff was held at the Expo Center on Feb. 17. Heart of the Ozarks Sertoma took home the award for grand champion chili. Archie's placed third in that category.

417 Travel won the people's choice chili award and Wing's Etc. took home the rookie award. The Queen City Club took home the top prize in the non-profit category.

The Chili Cookoff is a cooperative event by the Queen City, Springfield, and Heart of the Ozarks Sertoma Clubs. The Sertoma Clubs are non-profit organizations that focus on raising money for charites, primarily sponsoring children charities in Springfield and its surrounding communities, according to its website.
