Greene County Sherrif’s Department announced Friday evening that first-degree murder charges have been filed for the death of Dan A. Myers of Springfield.
Jessica L. McCammon was charged for Myers’ murder, a social media post from the department said.
Detectives asked for the public’s help in trying to locate Myers as he has been missing since March 22. On Thursday, detectives located remains in a wooded area off North Farm Road 167 and believe they are Myers’ remains, the post said.
McCammon is being held in the Greene County jail, charged with first-degree murder and possession of a controlled substance.
