I have known Susan Provance for over 40 years as both a personal friend and a teaching colleague. I have watched her dedication and caring for the students in her physical education, health, and at-risk classes, as well as her determination and guidance in helping student-athletes achieve the best of their abilities.
I worked with Susan in writing Missouri State Incentive Grants, which she designed to obtain resources to screen and then build student wellness. As both a teacher and a coach, Susan worked with parents when students under her care were facing challenges.
Susan would provide valuable experience and insight in setting policies ensuring student safety and academic achievement as well as supporting classroom teachers.
Voting for Susan Provance on April 2 would benefit Springfield R-12 Schools.
